Setting up an All-Inkl cronjob: through KAS and the alternative

You create a cronjob at All-Inkl in KAS: Tools › Cronjobs › Cronjob anlegen, then enter your script address and pick the time. The PrivatPlus, Premium and Business plans include cronjobs, the Privat plan only as an add-on (as of October 2026). Without the add-on you can use Cronjob.de: you enter the same address there.

Why at all

Which plans include cronjobs

According to the All-Inkl plan comparison (as of October 2026), PrivatPlus includes 25 cronjobs, Premium 50 and Business 100. For the Privat plan cronjobs are listed there as available at extra cost. If your plan lacks them, All-Inkl says you can order them as an add-on in the Members Area or switch to a plan with cronjobs.

If your plan includes cronjobs, KAS is the obvious route. The cronjob there calls your script through an address over HTTP or HTTPS. You can store a directory protection user and password and have the script output emailed to you. For many tasks that is enough, and then you should use it.

Cronjob.de calls your script the same way through its address, just from outside. For that you need neither an add-on nor a plan change at All-Inkl, and you do not have to program anything: enter the address, click the schedule. On top you get a call log and, if you like, a message when a call fails, even when your site is not answering at all.

Setup

Step by step

The AI does it faster

You do not have to transfer any of this by hand. Paste this guide – or the one for your own system – into the assistant, and Cronjob.de fills in address, method, schedule and headers. Where something is unclear it asks instead of guessing. At the end you see what was entered and create the job with one click.

Included in the free plan at no extra cost. You will find it after signing in under "Cronjobs" → "Create with AI".

  1. Check whether your plan includes cronjobs

Sign in to KAS (technical administration), click Tools in the menu, then Cronjobs in the main window. If you can choose Cronjob anlegen (create cronjob) there, use route A. Otherwise carry on with route B, without booking anything.

  2. Route A: create the cronjob in KAS

Enter your script address under Protokoll / Pfad (protocol / path), plus a description if you like. Then choose the execution time or an execution interval. If the script sits in a protected folder, enter HTTP Benutzer and HTTP Passwort (HTTP user and password) under the additional settings. With an email address you get the script output sent to you. Finally click save.

  3. Route B: check the address

Open the address in a browser once. It has to be reachable from outside and answer with status 200. If the script should not be public, append a long random parameter and check it in the script. Alternatively, store the credentials of your directory protection (HTTP auth) at Cronjob.de.

  4. Create an account at Cronjob.de

Signing up is free and needs no payment details. New accounts get all features for 14 days, after that the account simply continues on the free plan with five cronjobs.

  5. Create a cronjob with that address

Enter the address and click the schedule together. You can also describe the interval in one sentence, such as “every 15 minutes”. Or simply paste your plugin's instructions, and the AI assistant picks out the address and schedule.

    */5 * * * *

You can enter this expression at Cronjob.de exactly as it is – the schedule field understands crontab notation. But you do not have to know it: simply click the schedule together instead.

  6. Switch on error alerts

Enter an email address under Notifications. You will then hear about a failed call, even when your hosting is not answering at all. Failure notifications by email are included from Plus, and during the first 14 days.

What the five fields of an expression like */5 * * * * mean is explained in the crontab reference – with examples and the most common pitfalls. You can build the expression in the crontab generator. Whether you need an outside service at all is shown in the comparison of the three ways.

Verification

Is it actually running?

Within a few minutes the Cronjob.de call log shows the first calls with status code and runtime, and from Plus also your script's response. For the first test have the script write date and time into a file. Then you can see on both sides that the call arrived.

Your host runs cron jobs itself? Then monitor them with a heartbeat.

One line at the end of your script reports every run to Cronjob.de. If the check-in is missing, you get a message – even if the host's cron never started. One heartbeat is free. Cron job monitoring

FAQ

Common questions about All-Inkl (KAS)

Which All-Inkl plans include cronjobs?
According to the All-Inkl plan comparison (as of October 2026), cronjobs are included in PrivatPlus (25), Premium (50) and Business (100). In the Privat plan they are available at extra cost as an add-on. Whether your plan has them is shown in KAS under Tools › Cronjobs.
Do I need a bigger All-Inkl plan for cronjobs?
For the cronjobs in KAS, on the Privat plan you need either the add-on or a plan change. For Cronjob.de you do not: we call your script address from outside, which works with any plan as long as the address is reachable.
Why use an external service if my plan has cronjobs?
If KAS is enough for you, use KAS. Reasons for Cronjob.de are the call log with runtime and response, the error alert when something fails, and that your cronjobs survive a move to another host unchanged.
Can the KAS cronjob run shell commands?
Not directly. According to All-Inkl the script has to be callable over HTTP(S). For shell commands All-Inkl describes a workaround via a separate script that you then enter as the cronjob. Cronjob.de also only calls addresses and does not run commands.
Does my script have to be publicly reachable?
It has to be callable from outside, yes. You can protect it with a long random parameter in the address that the script checks, or with a directory protection whose credentials you store at Cronjob.de.
Is your server rejecting our calls? Error 403 almost always comes from a firewall, a security plugin or directory protection – not from your script. All our calls carry the fixed identifier Cronjob.de in the user agent. Ask your host for an exception for it; that is more reliable than allowing IP addresses, because ours can change. Addresses and details in the FAQ. Other errors such as 401, 404 or 500 are explained in the troubleshooting guide.
