A cronjob service with a contracting party
There is no shortage of free cron services. What is rare: someone who issues you an invoice, signs a data processing agreement and answers the phone. Cronjob.de has been operated by a German company since 2003, on servers inside the EU.
What you get
Invoice with VAT
Every payment produces an invoice with VAT shown, available in your account. Your bookkeeping just downloads it – no need to request anything by email.
German contracting party
Contracting party, support and invoicing are based in Germany. German law, German jurisdiction, a named contact person.
DPA under Art. 28 GDPR
If your cronjobs touch personal data, you need a data processing agreement. You get one from us, at no extra charge.
Servers inside the EU only
Nuremberg, Falkenstein and Helsinki. No processing in third countries, no data transfer to the USA.
Several people, one account
Unlimited team access: each person with their own address and password, in two roles, with a log of who did what. Nobody has to share a password.
Running since 2003
By the same operator, without interruption. For tasks meant to run reliably for years, that is a difference from services that start as side projects.
Data processing
Cronjob.de calls a URL you provide. The script behind it runs on your own server – we never execute code of yours. We process your account data, the addresses of your cronjobs and the responses your script returns. If those responses contain personal data, we act as a processor for that part, and you need an agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

For agencies
- Folders per client. Cronjobs can be grouped, so the jobs of twenty client projects do not sit in one list.
- Team access instead of shared passwords. When someone leaves, their access goes – the account stays.
- Call log and error mail. You hear about a failed call before your client does.
